A chief magistrates court in Ebute Meta area of Lagos state has ordered that four men of the Special Armed Response Squad (SARS) who allegedly killed two unsuspected robbers in Iba axis, be remanded in prison.
There reports that the state police public relations officer, DSP Bala Elkana, in a statement on Thursday, August 22, said the the policemen were subjected to internal disciplinary proceedings at the provost department.
He said they were tried on three count charges bothering on discreditable conduct, unlawful and unnecessary exercise of authority and damage to article.
It would be recalled that the state commissioner of police, Zubairu Muazu, ordered the arrest of four police
