Says, Okorocha Stole Over 1 Trillion Naira From Imo

Imo State Governor, Chief Emeka Ihedioha has denied using a whopping N2.8b on monthly sanitation, as alleged by former Governor Rochas Okorocha, describing the allegation as baseless and unfounded.

A statement issued by the Special Adviser, Media to the Governor of Imo State, Mr. Steve Osuji described the former Governor’s claim as unfortunate, explaining that only about Twenty Five Million Naira was used for the monthly sanitation exercise in the state.

I thought government shld award the contract of refuse disposal to a reputable company yearly to avoid unnecessary sharp practices from its officials.
