The wife of Mr. Rotimi Durojaiye, Editor of Sunday Independent, died after a brief illness, FoxMeek reports.

FoxMeek learnt that Mrs Durojaiye (nee Beckley) died in the early hours of Thursday and was buried at Ebenezer Baptist Church, New Oko Oba in Lagos.

Friends, colleagues of the deceased’s husband and close family graced the burial to give the deceased her final rite.

Until recently, Mr. Durojaiye was a media aide to former governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State.

He had earlier held the office of editor of Daily Independent, the flagship title of Independent Newspapers.
