Young Visioneers Association of Nigeria (YVAN) Ogun state has again called for increase support for the vulnerables insisting that Nigeria and indeed the world would be a better place if people would stop turning blind eyes to the needy.

Comrade Ikunika Tosin, the Coordinator of YVAN in Ogun state made this call while presenting food items like rice, noodles, toiletries, books and pens, slippers among others to the inmates of Sagamu
He disclosed that “it is high time people considered it a duty to help fix some of our societal problems by reaching out to people in pains, people who needed to be given hope of a better tomorrow like the orphans, the physically challenged, the widows, the prison inmates, those on the sick bed among others. This segment of our society must not be forgotten. We all must do our bit to ameliorate their sufferings and reinforce their assurance of better days ahead”.
He however challenged Nigerian leaders to imbibe spirit of humanitarian and selfless service and desist from selfish attitude of accumulation of wealth leaving many to wallow in poverty saying that many great countries of the world were as a result of selfless leadership.
