The Coalition of APC Candidates for the 2019 Anambra State House of Assembly election has stretched their hands of congratulations to Sen. Dr. Chris Ngige, a great indigene of the state, for his recent swearing in as the minister of Labour Employment for the second time under President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.

The group, in a statement signed by the state coordinator, Hon. Paul Ezeobi, noted with joy that the appointment has not only proved Sen. Ngige to be a tested and trusted capable hand who has something unique to offer in the overall development of the country; but has also justified President Buhari's broad-mindedness and adherence to the principle of Federal Character in distribution of powers and positions.

It would be recalled that Sen. Chris Ngige was the Executive Governor  of Anambra State from 29 May 2003 to 17 March 2006, after which he got elected as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2011, representing the good people of Anambra Central Senatorial Zone, till 2015, when President Buhari first appointed him a minister of Labour and Employment. All these positions and many more, he held excellently, with good record and magnanimous achievements, thus necessitating and justifying his recent re-appointment and swearing in as minister heading the same ministry for second time.

Expressing firm optimism that he will also deliver more excellently well this time, the group also pledged their unalloyed support to him, and prayed that the Almighty who has called him again also continues to enable and give him the wisdom to discharge his functions effectively and efficiently as he has always done.

Finally, the group extolled President Buhari for finding two Anambrarians worthy again to be appointed into his cabinet, and pledged their total support to his administration.
