I like the whole Malian blues and Malian music scene. i know this is a long shot,

but does anyone else?

Oh my goodness. . . I thought I was the only one! I also enjoy the likes of Tidiani Kone, Master of Percussion, Baaba Maal (Senegalese, I believe) and Orchestra Baobab!!

Orchestra Baobab I know and like very well. Tidjani Kone and Masters. not so

Amadou and Miriam, Oumar sangare, Habib Koite, Nahawa Doumbia, Afel Bocum and the master Ali Farka.

Ali Farka's last album Savane was the bomb. Anytime I tell ppl and they listen to it they think I am crazy!

i don't really like youssou n'dour ,salif i love prolly because he is an albino ,you are right about baba maals' voice
