The Nigerian social media has been buzzing with excitement ever since former US president, Barack Obama shared his summer playlist for 2019 and Nigerian singer Rema made the list!

It is no news that Nigerian music is beginning to gain worldwide recognition. From winning international awards to getting featured on international music works, it just keeps getting better.

However, it gets pretty interesting when a former US president acknowledges the beauty of Nigerian afrobeats and that's exactly what Barack Obama has done.

He recently took to his Instagram page to share his summer playlist for the year 2019. The playlist which comprises 44 songs featured fast rising act, Rema's song, Iron Man sitting pretty at number 42.
