This is the last generation where village people will eat wedding rice and long wedding list over a girl who they don't even know and who they never raised up. I have a feeling my generation won't bother putting our children through all that stress before starting their lives. From my daughter at least, I will simply ask her how she wants to do it and we will do it like that. No bloody villager can come to my house and tell me how I will give MY daughter away.
