CYMS Congratulates Godswill Akpabio, Festus Keyamo Over Appointments

The Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS) under the leadership of Comrade Obinna Nwaka, the Director General has congratulated Sen. Godswill Akpabio and Hon. Festus Keyamo SAN over appointments as Honourable Minister, and state minister of Ministry Of Niger Delta Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria respectively describing it as a confirmation of the President's confidence on them over their sterling qualities and abilities to drive the development agenda of the region.

In a statement issued by its Director Media and publicity, Otobong Gabriel yesterday describe Niger Delta as the economic-based of the nation, hence require leaders with high level of political maturity with the heart to serve in order to stabilize the oil polity in the region and term down the insecurity challenges faced in the region as a result of marginalization, saying that the duo are perfect match for the job owing to the uncommon track records of Akpabio when he was a governor.

The Committee Of Youth On Mobilization and Sensitization is a registered body constituted by youth leaders to promote and supports the policies and programmes of the federal government with structures all across the federation. The CYMS while felicitated with the duo said their appointments by President Muhammadu Buhari is a reward for hard work and diligence to duty and testamentary of the President’s approval for their work in his first term and his believe in their ability to contribute meaningfully toward the “Next Level” agenda he promised Nigerians."

Gabriel expressed his confidence on Senator Akpabio that he can turn round low performance in any ministry assigned to him been a dedicated and reliable administrator and " Uncommon Transformer he is known for " will be a productive ally to Mr. President in discharging his duties and urged him to deploy his wealth of experience to effectively steer the affairs of the Ministry toward productive governance that will bring hope to the common Nigerians.

He however enjoined him to remain a dogged and relentless administrator in the affairs of the Nigerian state which he creditably demonstrated during his time as a governor of Akwa Ibom State and wished them good health and the wisdom to fulfill their duties and to take Nigeria to the Next Level of economic prosperity.
