President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday approved the constitution of new NDDC Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

The President, through the letter signed by the Permanent Secretary, General Services Office from the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation in proxy by Olusegun Adekunle.

The secretary said the appointment of the new NDDC Board was subject to the confirmation from the Nigerian senate.

The former deputy governor of Edo state, Dr. Pius Odubu was appointed as the Chairman of the new NDDC Board by the President.

1. Dr. Pius Odubu appointed as the Chairman – Edo State

2. Otobong Ndem – Akwa Ibom, Executive Director, Projects.

3. Bernard Okumagba – Delta State will serve as Managing Director.

4. Victor Ekhatar – Edo State

5. Maxwell Okoh – Bayelsa State

6. Jones Erue – Delta State

7. Joy Nunieh – Rivers State

8. Nwogu Nwogu- Abia State

9. Theodore Allison – Bayelsa State

10. Victor Antai – Akwa Ibom State

11. Maurice Effiwatt – Cross River State

12. Olugbenga Elema – Ondo State

13. Uchegbu Kyrian – Imo State

The President also appointed one person from each zone to be represented in the board.

14. Aisha Muhammed from Kano State representing North-West

15. Adamawa State, to represent the North-East

16. Badmus Mutalib from Lagos State to represent the South-West

Mr. Buhari’s list of the new constituted Board for the NDDC is subject to Senate confirmation, approved the composition of the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission. The statement reads.

But wait oh, from the look of things... Buhari is actually paying back regions where he got more votes frrom.

Now this is just not fair ,where is the south east member in the board
Imo , and abia are there because they produce oil
So is ondo yet true south west and the rest has a representative but none for south east

Can we all now see how clear it is

Packing all the big Politicians in the South south to NDDC what of other ministries where there are choppings and food for the boys?
why can't i see people from the North in one small ministry............
