Flying Eagles coach John Obuh could have been mistaken for the boss of the losing side despite seeing his wards march to a 4-1 aggregate win over Mauritius on Saturday.

Goals from Omoh Ojabu and Terry Envoh, orchestrated by a Stanley Okoro masterclass saw the Nigerian cadets coast to a 2-0 win in Abuja, but Obuh was left fuming at the end.

"The boys did not allow us to implement our game plan," he said. "We lost a good opportunity to try out some other players, and I am not happy about that."


Obuh will now focus on preparing his team for the African Youth Championships in Libya, for which his wards have been installed as one of the favourites.
