Podcasts are becoming more popular around the world and in Nigeria too, so popular that there’s an argument that podcasts could kill radio in the nearest future.

While that’s still up for debate, podcasts hold a lot of advantages over radio including being able to pick the shows you want when you want them.

For the tech lovers out there, we’ve compiled a list of our favourite Nigerian tech podcasts and will be sharing them with you. In no particular order, they are;

Top 5 Tech Podcasts in Nigeria

1. Talk Tech Nigeria
Hosted by Femi Greaterheights, Talk Tech Nigeria is a radio show converted to podcasts.

The Podcast mostly covers technology and how they affect the users positively and sometimes negatively. It also features product reviews and tech tips.

The length of each episode varies between less than ten minutes to close to an hour. It is available on Google Podcasts as well as Itunes.

2. Code Clan Nigeria
Code Clan Nigeria Podcast is a community-based podcast where guests talk about topics in technology and software development.

The podcast which is hosted by Ajiboye Temitope has each episode approximately 13 minutes long and is available on Google Podcast as well as Itunes.

3. Made in Nigeria Tech
Hosted by AceKYD and Silm, the Made in Nigeria Tech podcast covers the Nigerian tech scene.

The hosts bring on guests from tech startups around Nigeria to interview them and discuss the latest happenings and trends in the tech world.

Each episode is between 5 to 30 minutes long. The podcast is available on Google Podcast.

4. Building the Future with Dotun
Building the future podcast hosted by Dotun Olowoporoku is more for the tech entrepreneurs out there. Dotun has one on one interviews with both new and successful tech entrepreneurs as they share the challenges they face building a business in the Nigerian space.

Some episodes on the show last as long as 2 hours, so you better have your popcorn handy. You can find Building the Future podcast on Google Podcasts and Itunes.

5. Everything Digital Africa
Everything Digital Africa Podcast is hosted by Faith History (not sure if that’s her real name, but if it is, that’s an awesome name!). The show, as its name reveals covers everything digital. From social media to technology and even the business side of tech.
