The Niger State Police Command has paraded one Bose Isaac for selling an abducted baby boy for N300,000.

The suspected child trafficker was planning her escape at the time of her arrest following a missing person complaint made by the father of the victim, Gambo Shua’ibu of Cikin-Gari village on August 24.

Niger state Police Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Abubakar said the suspect was arrested by a team of policemen attached to the Kagara Division. According to him, Bose Isaac confessed to abducting the boy and taking him to a woman in Ogun State who promised to give her the sum of N300,000 in return.

The suspect who claimed that she needed the money to sort out “family problems" said the buyer is yet to fulfill her own side of the bargain.

“I abducted and sold the little boy for N300,000 to a woman in Ogun State, who was desperate to have a child of her own,” she told Punch.

Asked why she sold another person’s child, she said, “It was the work of the devil and poverty in the land that made me find myself in this hopeless situation.”

The Police spokesperson further added that police is working tirelessly to arrest the buyer of the abducted boy while concluding its investigation to arraign the suspected trafficker in court.

Crime has no tribe. You see, if it were to be an Igbo woman now those people that rule in skull mining activities would have filled this thread with their negative and hate filled comments. Everyone should be guided please.

The only country wey we dey pray pass but we do evil more than good.... The only country that puts your life at risk whether you make money or not, you make money boys come kidnap you, you don't make money Amaka go dissapoint you. The only country wey one individual go thief money buy gold and iPhone worth 40million dollars...right now fraudulent activities are on the rise ,85% of the youths are gigolos ...now legit hustlers are seen as the poor ones cause dey don't drive Mercedes or rx350 Lexus . The only country wey Igbo, hausa and Yoruba fight against each other forgetting that we are Nigerians and any crime committed outside the shores of this country taunts our image cause the criminals are gonna be labelled Nigerians not Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba . I don't pray for Nigeria to get better anymore cause our minds are corrupt even you reading this can be more corrupt than the government. The New Nigeria starts with you and me , let's make Nigeria a better place , say no to crime and fraud . Everybody no go drive Mercedes or Lexus . I bliv in a new Nigeria .......
