This is exactly the main reason why making those BRT lanes from after Alapere bridge into dual carriage highways to Ikorodu without any demarcation or partition in between is a very bad idea. One error, one misjudgment, one mechanical fault, one natural mishap etc, and what happens is you have 2 BRT buses with passengers crashing into themselves like this. If there was a solid structure demarcation or partition, it helps minimize the dangers of unplanned crashes or accidents. Sometimes, I wonder who comes up with some of the road plans in Lagos. Some road designs just lack sense with no proper measures for safety

The question on the lips of people is, are they both drunk? Do they have grudges against each other or maybe it's just accidental?

Its another day with another accident in the city of Ikorodu. Remember last week, we reported an accident involving a Dangote truck and a BRT bus that collide against each other. This week, another accident occurred at Ikorodu inloving two BRT buses. According to reports, an accident involving two high capacity buses on the BRT corridor at Asolo, Ikorodu. Traffic building up both ways due to onlookers.

Recovery is already ongoing as LASTMA, Police and FRSC officials are already on ground to ensure a free flow of traffic. So far no death has been reported but it was reported that some passengers sustain some various injuries. AutoReportNG was able to get some live feed from an eyewitness and he was gracious to send it to our news desk.

Too much of oro, invoking evil spirit for innocent people.

I visited Ikorodu for the first time last month, when I noticed there was no demarcation on that highway, I said to myself; what were they thinking?
