Hello Nigerians, I'm also a Nigerian who lives in South Africa. I have been reading some comments here on Nairaland about the need to burn South African Companies in Nigeria.. To me, I don't think it's a wise move because those companies belong to White South Africans. We the foreign nationals in South Africa don't have problems with the whites and coloured/halfcasts in South Africa. They don't give us any problem at all. They mind their own businesses, even if you burn those companies or ask them to leave, it will never have any effect on those black criminal South Africans who hide under Xenophobia to steal from foreign nationals. Rather Nigerians will lose because these companies pay huge tax in Nigeria which also contribute to our economy. Nigerians also work in these companies so they will be jobless when this happens.
So my point is, We should allow FG and AU to address this matter.
Lastly... This might seem like Xenophobia but in my own honest opinion, this is just criminality hidden under Xenophobia because some South African shops were looted as well Like Pep shops and some Bottle stores.. I live closer to these places so I'm following everything and nobody has been reported dead.. Most of the videos that going viral on social media platforms are mostly old videos circulating around.
I will keep updating you guys as things continue to unfold. Pray for us guys.
