Here is a throwback video of Nelson Mandela thanking Nigeria for the support given to South Africans while he was away in prison

Providing them with teachers, doctors, giving their children scholarships to go to universities in Nigeria when South Africa was under the apatheid (white rule)
Mandela was in Lagos after his release from prison before becoming president in 1990

We will never learn... tomorrow, if something happens again to any of these African countries we will foolishly spend our scarce resources on them calling ourselves stupid big brother. During those difficult times for SA, Mbeki and family were hiding in Lagos here and Nigerian government was feeding them and they were living in free apartments and getting all the good things average Nigerians couldn't get but Thabo Mbeki as SA President didn't tell his people the love Nigerian government shown to them. PM Tafawa Balewa, OBJ and IBB spent a lot of Nigeria's money on those ingrates.

RIP General Sani Abacha! If you were still our leader, SA wouldn't have dared us or else, you'd have immediately severed diplomatic ties with SA, expelled their Ambassador and Nationalised all their businesses. I remember how you dealt with Cameroonian Security Forces because of Bakassi and they ran away only to resurfaced when you died and one chicken hearted President gave Bakassi away. On this one, May God bless General Sani Abacha anywhere he is

Nigerians made a mistake in 2015 and only God knows how many more years the country is going to suffer for that singular act...
