baby124:
Nigerian public transport workers/drivers should all be registered with permits displayed to deter one-chance operators. This is alarming in this day and age.

Now that's an intelligent solution. People with solution-oriented minds like you need to be in governance.

Stop concluding it was one chance

There are various ways it could have happened.

May his soul rest in peace.

These one chance robbers are only taking advantage of the non- functional street lights on the streets of Abuja embarassed

If those lights are working effectively they won't be this bold

Where are the CCTV cameras that were supposed to be installed in our nation's capital and also to be extended to our state capitals, money appropriated has been guzzled by some groups and yet nothing has been done, God punish whoever that has been involved in shortchanging us our commonwealth.

The NPF can arrest the killers. AIT report to IG. Since after 2014 most of the street cameras that work 24/7 have been vandalised or not functioning.
To fight crime 1st any serious government will make sure the whole streets are being watched by technology. But because they are not serious about this they have ignored it.

One chance operators a rampant in abuja and almost non existent in Ilorin where this guy came from. He had no idea of the public transport menace in abuja. Quite sad

Now when u move to a new location or state u need to update urself with the notorious vices and operations there because of general security concerns.

RIP sir the state failed you..

Does AIT not have staff buses in that area?
Does AIT not give official cars to staff ?

Sorry to say but any of these may have saved his life..
You can imagine, you transferred someone from Ilorin without making him comfortable. At least, staff bus should be provided...

What a wicked world. After all the struggling after the demise of ur father. I pray that God will give your mother, siblings and friends the strength to overcome this calamity.

I was a victim of one chance too. Back then in 2014 Feb 13,boded a cab from mabushi opposite ministry of works and housing. It was a terrible experience I wud not even wish for my enemy, even though I don't have one. He most have struggle with them, I did at first but when I realise there mission was to kill when I try to jeopardise there operation. It became apparent to me that I need to live to fight another day. My brother,i started speaking and begging in the language they where speaking, my face was already covered in blood. Due to the heavy metal knocked I receive on my face and head. I had to beg for my life. I gave away everything in my possession plus my pin, fake one though. I was pushed out of a car like an animal immediately before begga fly over. When the car was still in motion.I had roughly 30 stitches. That root where he was killed is notorious to ONE CHANCE guys but police as usual will just park there patrol vans under fly over and be collecting there national cakes from those alleged ONE CHANCE boys.RIP to the death
