A Corolla 2003 is 300k equivalent in canada. But 1.6m here. What exactly is customs or FG doing with the yeye clearing ehn
If USA, Freight and transport to USA port for shipping to Nigeria is between 1000- 1500 dollars depending on the location u got the car In USA. Convert that to naira, that's about 400k or more. And u can't even get a 2003 corolla (with good working condition o, not accident) for less Dan 900 US dollars . But really, our government needs to do something about the clearing.

Clearing in Nigeria 400k
Servicing the car to sellable condition #100k
Profit for seller #200k
Subtotal #1.12M
Add the purchase price of $1000k (#350k)
Total #1.47M
God help you if the vehicle requires major work like transmission, Ac or engine, then you will know that all that glitter is not gold
