A bridge in Bayelsa state which serves as a link between Elebele community and Otuoke community collapsed earlier today (September 5) as a truck attempted to crossover.

The incident left many stranded after the truck conveying building materials damaged the narrow bridge linking the two communities.

The Ogbia Brotherhood Youth Council who shared the photos online have advised people in both communities to take alternative routes as they appeal to the government to come to their aid.

What It will cost the trailer owner to remove the truck from there and to fix some damages on the truck plus the goods the building material own lost might be enough to construct a bridge there
