Ogun TechHUB located along Kobape Road, Abeokuta Expressway was launched by the Executive Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on Thursday 5th September, 2019. The Hub an open living lab and pre-incubation space designed to be a multi-functional, multi-purpose space where work to catalyse creative social tech ventures take place. The HUB is a place for technologists, social entrepreneurs, the Government, tech companies, impact investors and ethical hackers in and around Ogun State to co-create new solutions to the many social problems in Nigeria. The TechHub is supporting individuals and organisations to smartly apply innovation and the technology to solve commercial and social problems. It will also facilitate creative thinking and collaborative problem solving using smart application of technology. The HUB's core engagement will be to deliver innovation through a human centered design approach combined with the expertise of turning ideas into products and sustainable organisations. The Hub is hoping to serve as a knowledge platform where citizens can connect, share, build new skills and competencies to solve local challenges that will improve the quality of life of Nigerians. |
