Government should bring out new agricultural schemes to ensure Nigeria becomes self-sufficient in agriculture. Falgore forest Kano should be developed into a mega ranch for cattle rearing. 3 Likes |

We are closing borders when we are not self sufficient in feeding ourselves. Our politicians are just wicked. Buhari can close borders but can't stop going to the UK for healthcare 100 Likes 10 Shares |

Some of these people at the borders don't see the physical barrier. They have families at the other side and closing the border brings a lot of frustration and stress. Instead of closing the border, why not properly secure it to prevent this kind of inconvenience. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Nigerians farmers don't produce enough to feed the country but still insist on stopping food from coming into the country from other countries just to increase prices. They control prices, quantity supplied and everything by forming trade union associations. They act as monopolies by deceiving govt into believing that imports will bring losses to them because they produce more than enough, which is a terrible lie. Miyetti Allah and other crop farmers share the same characteristics of greed, lack of sympathy and no respect for life. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Law of diminishing return would soon take effect, the prices would begin to drop as soon as patronage reduces significantly and people start eating more of locally sourced fish and other produce. 7 Likes 1 Share |

ALL the borders where contraband goods can flow in should be considered. Government should ensure that the country has developed capacity to produce quantities of the goods so prohibited. 11 Likes 1 Share |
