People often say there is dignity in labour.

Whoever is not laborious cannot lead. A laborious person is superior to a sluggard.

No matter how much you despise those who work hard and labour endlessly; there is dignity in labour.

Benefits await those who labour with all their hearts. Here is the list of the benefits of Labour;

Labour Benefits
• Labour saves you from being a burden to others.
“Nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you.” – 2 Thessalonians 3:8

The Apostle Paul wrote to the Thessalonians on their need to labour, using the apostles laborious lifestyle to motivate the believers at Thessalonians.

Nevertheless, this admonition is still relevant and beneficial to every church today.

Some people have developed the sense of entitlement.

Once they have any wealthy person in their family, they will put the burden of the entire family on him.

Life will now become unbearable for the man.

Work hard so that you won’t be a burden.

For instance, some people will keep disturbing rich people with calls, and text messages asking them for financial help.

And if those people don’t help them, they will develop unusual hatred towards them.

This is the description of those who have made themselves a burden.
As a young man, don’t be a burden to your parents.

Frankly, there are menial jobs you can do to finance yourself to some extent before your parents help you.

Exactly, Sir. That's why we need to emulate God by labouring.

The Dictum here is "Work well willingly". Work is Light! Well is Good! And Willingly is Life!

So, Shine your Light. Show Goodness always and Live perfectly the Life of God in you.
