Evacuation of Nigerians in South Africa: APGA National Chairman Extols Air Peace Airline Boss for Patriotic Gesture

The national chairman of APGA, Ozonkpu Dr. Victor Ike Oye, has commended the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace Airline, Chief Barr. Allen Onyema for his exhibiting what he described as national sacrifice.

Chief Onyema donated his planes for free lifting back home of Nigerians in South Africa who were targets of Xenophobic attacks.

Dr. Oye described Allen Onyema as the symbol of national compassion and an example in magnificent patriotism and peace

Oye prayed God to bless and protect the Anambra born Airline Operator, his Airline, AIR PEACE and also call on other highly placed Nigerians,religious organizations and government agencies to emulate the good works of Air Peace whom he said,had embarked on rescue mission.

He urged the federal government to intensify efforts towards sanctioning the government of South Africa over what he described as their lackadaisical and carefree utterances of some of their representatives that had fuelled the xenophobic attacks on foreign nationals, especially against Nigerians and their businesses in south Africa.

Ozonkpu Oye concluded by making reference to the guiding principle of APGA anchored on being one's brother and sister's keeper as the only panacea and cure to this hatred of some south Africans against their brotherly and sisterly African Nations and call on all to walk in love as enshrined in APGA's motto
