The national President of Niger Delta Elites Forum (NIDEF) Amb Daniel N Obah congratulates the Ministers from the Niger Delta Region appointed by Mr President, His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, and the recent Board Members of the NDDC. We believe as a body every Niger Deltan is a stakeholder in the development of the region as such we should lend our supports through advice or otherwise to support development and advance peace.

On this note we are appealing to all stakeholders to join hands and support the appointments of the new board of NDDC (Dr Pius Odubu-Chairman, Bernard Okumagba-MD, Otobong Edem-ED Project, Maxwell Okoh-ED Finance and others) of which the concern should be on speedy development considering the under development of the region since the creation of the commission till date. They are Niger Deltans and eminently qualified to be in the board.

We can't continue to fight among ourselves and remain disunited but united in the course of good.

Once after elections and Major Appointments, our concern should be to bury hatches, and be focused on development of the region considering it's peculiar nature.

We as an organization are determined to fashion out ways to support the Niger Delta Governors, Ministers, and relevant leaders in the region to fast track development, unity and peaceful coexistence.

This boneheaded display by the president of the so-called Niger Delta Elites Forum (NIDEF) is one of the reasons Abuja and Lagos are mega cities while entire so-called Niger Delta is backwater from the hell.
