I killed this reptile in my compound recently at about some minutes past 7pm,is it venomous?

@ Sexyto, It's called a skink. Most likely a Thierry cylindrical skink. No need killing them as they are like the ordinary Agama lizard and not venomous/poisonous or pose any real threat to humans or livestock.

I know of the ordinary skink that is active in the day time, it's not redish but it's brown and not as big as this on, this reptile is only nocturnal and very secretive, thanks anyway I appreciate.

In south south, you will find it in abundance, though this species is nocturnal.
