Wadume is highly connected to a lot highly placed politicians and military men. I doubt if his trial will ever see the light of day

All these criminals should be speedily prosecuted and punished upon indictment. But why didn't MURIC cry over governors visiting confirmed criminals to beg them?

Soon it will become a religious issue. Evans for Christians and Wadume for the Muslims. This country self.

May their God fathers is in Govt so they are the ones causing the delay...can we still get justice in Naija ? The judiciary is so corrupt that when an armed robber has money he can delay justice ,that is what we are seeing .

smogup:
wink After making so much noise about wadume's arrest, he is yet to be charged to court. Even the report of the committee that was set up to investigate the murder of the 3 policemen by the army has not been made known weeks after it was submitted to buhari.

No justice for the dead. If you kill yourself in service of Nigeria, you just died for nothing. Our leaders don't care, they will just replace you and move on.

This country tire me ooo

Naija247blog:
A call which was made in a press report issued to DAILY POST Nigera by the Director of the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) Professor Ishaq Akintola, on Tuesday, 17th of August.

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) was not happy about the prolonged delay in the passing of judgment on billionaire kidnapper, Evans, Wadume and others.

MURIC lamented delays in the justice system for criminals in Nigeria which allows criminals who have finally admitted & confessed to still continue to ‘maradonise’ the law enforcement agents and judges in Nigeria ‘years’ after their arrest.

The judiciary was made to be that way. Very inept arm of government. A case will drag from generation to generation with no sign of Justice in sight. Everything needs an overhaul in this country.

Muric has just nailed the matter on the head, but will Authority listen to Muric, capital NO.

Meanwhile Buhari is fighting corruption. Which corruption is more than arresting a confessed crimimal and still celebrated.

Kidnapping will not stop when no coprit has executed publicly.
Re: MURIC Complains About Delay In Trial Of Evans, Wadume & Others by Fallenhunter: 4:04pm On Sep 17, 2019
Ironic that MURIC of all people would make sense but here they are right.

The one thing they're wrong about is lawyers. It's a lawyers job to do what's best for his/her client, to the best if his/her ability. It is not their job to judge their client on the basis of innocence/guilt. If lawyers made judgments then how would they help clients that had evidence against them but were later found to be innocent?

If evans was a northerner sha.... everyone will have been screaming that he hasnt been killed cos he is fulani.....

But here is a full blooded igbo man, guilty as hell......but judgement hasnt been passed.

The nigerian system is dysfunctional in itself, not everything is tribalism

Wadume still under investigation? What else are they investigating Oh they want to turn it around like that of Evans case where he said Kyari forced him to accept what he know nothing about...

Fact is that those billionaire kidnappers have top top individuals backing them...

Shebi they have resulted in using bitcoin to collect ransom, late you all will see its the Fulani herdsmen, I want to know how an ordinary Fulani herdsmen will know of a crypto currency called bitcoin and how they will use it to collect ransom....

Politicians are just toying with us...

RealLordZeus:

But is he wrong? Are you okay with how cases are usually delayed for many years when a verdict has supposedly been reached!
Evans admitted guilt at the onset of his case, likewise Wadume.
Are you not bothered about how corruption cases lasted more than a century in this country.
Also, there is no religious undertone in his statement, he's just saying the most sensible thing, Muric may be wrong on many things but in this case, they are right

Bros what is the business of Muric with such matters that concern the police and courts? Religious organizations should mind religious matters. After all one of the greatest problems in this country is the religious organizations.
