The team missed the work rate of Etebo in the midfield....Aribo is just another version of John Ogu, aside his goal, can't remember any major through pass or long range pass he made.
Thank God for Ndidi.

He may not be a passer but he's an excellent dribble from midfield. Better than Ogu in that respect.

Our midfield is shiiit cause when the opponent has the ball,we shift to a 4-5-1 set up.We dont pressurize and this leaves us open to creative players that can play the ball behind the midfield. I think our attack has been reformed a little bit and defensively we are solid even though a lot of work can be done


3 key areas we must work on

Arieal balls - We concede a lot from crosses and dead balls.Our players were completely ball watching for that goal

Midfield - Ndidi is fantastic but nobody is complementing him. Hes always exposed

Tactics - We need to push our wide players out when teams have the ball and we are winning.We cant be winning and allow players all the time in the world to make those passes behind our midfield.Rohr has brought us so far,but i think its time we took that important step forward.We have been in the same position for a while now and that step is needed if we are to really compete

We lack creative and technical midfielders, Simon Moses should learn to release the ball on time...we need midfielders that can bring out the best in Chukwueze...

He still sees himself as a winger, but he should model his game after that of Messi(When he used to play on the wings), C. Ronaldo and most importantly, Robben. He should always cut in and try to score.

Nigerians are just so impossible. Even the ones that don't know where a goal post is located are still blabbing.
The boys did their best and that's why it's a friendly not a competitive match.
Matches are meant to unearth players not necessarily call them out for their performances.
Let's learn to look at the positive side of things.
Majority of Nigerians are bad football fans.

My personal view on this match is we need to work more in making sure iwobi, Ndidi,Aribo and Etebo work together.
Our midfield is our power here once we get it right there Nigeria would be the team to beat in the world.

To me, Aribo seems the only stand out player in the match. He held is own and was very confident holding the ball with his feet and dribbles well enough when necessary and goes past opponents when he wants and there's was little bit jittery play like from Iwobi and Jamilu Collins. For me, Iwobi needs to drive more and hold the ball more to control the midfield - these are the ready attributes of a good midfielder.

Over all the boys tried, but there is still room for improvement.
