The rage that greeted the attack on Senator Ike Ekweremadu by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) during a visit to Germany, has almost faded out. Of course, many Igbo politicians still harbour the fear of being attacked outside Nigeria, but the discussions have subsided. Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour and Employment, has boasted that IPOB members can’t do anything to him. But looking at the situation, if anyone will get beaten really bad, Ngige will come first, even before Ekweremadu.
