With this certified training course you will be trained on all aspects important to Safety Instrumented Systems according to IEC 61511 (ANSI/ISA S84.00.01) 2nd edition. The training course includes a 4 hour exam on the last day.

Prerequisites
Anybody taking the course should have general knowledge about functional safety, IEC 61511 and other functional safety standards.
To get certified the following criteria must be met:
Bachelor degree deduct 2 years;
Masters degree deduct 3 years;
Ph.D. degree deduct 4 years;
Two references (who can confirm you have the experience in process industry);
Follow a training course and successfully pass the associated exam;

The exam
There are 60 multiple choice questions and 25 open questions. Each question is worth 1 point. How to pass the exam? Experience has shown that those attendants that pay attention during the class, ask questions when they do not understand something, and revise the notes and the material every evening, are well able to pass the exam.

Knowledge certification
This training course offers the following Knowledge Certification levels based on the following passing criteria:
Risknowlogy certified Specialist: Exam score equal or more than 60% and less than 75%.
Risknowlogy certified Specialist: Exam score equal or more than 60% and less than 75%.
TUV FS Engineer: Exam score equal or more than 60% and less than 75%.
TUV FS Professional: Exam score equal or more 75%.
