Korean Automaker, Hyundai has unveiled a luxurious, spacious 8-seater SUV with surprisingly eye-catching interior!

Hyundai Palisade is Hyundai’s largest SUV yet – larger in every dimension – 7.6 cm longer, nine cm wider, six cm taller and with a 10-cm-longer wheelbase.

The 8-seater SUV will amaze you because its interior as well as exterior took a surprising look as opposed to what we used to know about Hyundai cars, for example, it doesn’t have the blue-lit dashboard and it is luxuriously designed with all the bells and whistles.

Interior: It is spacious, with third row of seating, eight people can easily and comfortably fit in the car.

The front and mid row seats are ventilated, with heaters to warm you up during hot seasons and cools you down during hot seasons. The back seat fold easily to allow for storage by just pressing a button. Same with lifting the boot of the car, which was super helpful when walking to the car with handfuls of groceries or sports equipment.

The interior is luxuriously finished with Napa leather seats, 10-inch touchscreen navigation, Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, 7 USB ports for all the passengers, intercom for the driver to talk to back passengers (such as your kids throwing tantrums or crying), keyless entry with thumb start, three zone climatic control, “Captain” and One touch walk-in second row seats, power folding third row seats, Kids Quiet Zone feature that allows you to jam out to your music in the front while your kids sleep in the middle or back rows. It also has a 7-speaker premium sound system and 16 cup holders for all its occupants.

Safety:
The Hyundai Palisade comes with one of the latest safety features such as: lane change assist, lots of cameras – front, side and rear — for parking assistance.
The car not only tells you if a passenger hasn’t buckled their seatbelt, but it also tells you WHO. For parents with young kids, that means peace of mind knowing your child is safely strapped, and that if your child manages to unclip his or her seat belt, you’ll be promptly alerted.

Engine: The Palisade is powered by a 3.8-litre V6 Atkinson Cycle engine, making 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Hyundai claims it has the most horsepower of any three-row SUV in its class. Paired with a eight-speed automatic, it can tow up to 2,000 kilograms – the equivalent of a big trailer. Fuel Economy, according to Hyundai is 11.9L per 100km for city driving, 8.8Lper 100km for highway, and 10.5L per 100km combined.

Pricing: The 2020 Hyundai Palisade starts at 11,421,100 Naira ($31,550) and
16,290,000 Naira ($45,000) for the fully loaded trim(All-Wheel Drive trim) excluding landing costs to Nigeria or your country.

The Hyundai Palisade impressed us because of the improvement in interior. In most older model Hyundai's, the interior is not really impressive and that annoying blue -lit displays on the dashboard at night.


That said, apart from it having Interference engines, Hyundai's make good cars.

I agree with you totally. Hyundai engineering is really superb, just that Nigerians are yet to be in the know as most people are still fixated on Toyota, not knowing that many other manufacturers have upped their game.
Hyundai is a good one any day. The problem of cracked dashboard, as it happens in Toyota, has to be remedied though.

Reading through car fora you don't usually see cracked dashboards reported. To me, it's possible because the vehicles were not built with African hot climate in mind. Dashbords don't crack in Europe and colder parts of the world, which of course are the major market for cars. Secondly these cars are not used for long enough in those countries for the cracks to start appearing. But this is not peculiar to Toyota. It's a problem in the old Benz W123, Toyota Camry 2007 to 2011, Kia Optima, Hyundai Sonata, Infiniti fx35 and 45 etc. I must concede however, that Toyota is widely criticized by customers in Europe and the US for the cheap materials they use in their car interiors.

As you rightly pointed out, other car brands can have cracks on the dashboard.

Interior-wise, Honda is better.
