Some cows were killed by lightning bolt in Ifedore Local government, Ijare Ondo State today.

It all started from several warnings by the indigenes to the cattle rearers, but they were adamant.

The inhabitants went ahead to report to the Ifa priest that they've been seeing some Cow grazing in their "shrines bush" and the Ifa priest warned them not to go there again.

To everyone's surprise, all the cows that went grazing were killed by Thunder today.

The ifa priest, Who took the below pics by himself was asked if the cows can be eaten, and he boldly said "If anyone's touches the dead cows, such person will face same fate as the cows".

How true are these pictures. If a cow is struck by lightening, surely there is suppose to be burnt signs on the cows?

The strike can hit the ground sending large amounts of electricity through the soles (in this case hooves) of anyone standing in the area of the strike so there wont be burns..only a direct hit would cause burns
