A humanitarian support organization, Peacemakers Guide has honoured the Director, National Broadcast Academy, Engr. Ajibola Abiola with award of excellence as part of activities marking this year's International Day of Peace held at Ibadan over the weekend, ABN TV reports.

This is in recognition of his positive contribution to diverse human endeavor and community peace building in Nigeria.

Organizers of the event said by this award, Engr. Ajibola Abiola has become a member of Commissioner of Peace Forum.

The event also brought together various stakeholders in peace building and national development, among whom are National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ).
