Officers of Nigerian custom service killed an okada rider in oyo town, oyo state while they were after rice smugglers. According to the MandyNews, the men of the Nigeria Customs were in hot pursuit of a Sienna bus allegedly carrying rice in Oyo town, Oyo State. https://blogese.com.ng/2019/09/23/okada-rider-shot-by-custom-officers-while-chasing-rice-smugglers/ The custom officers were unable to make a clear shot at the smugglers, so they started firing bullets sparodically but the bullets didn’t penetrate. Along the line, one of the bullets hit an okada rider. The custom officers realizing they had hit an innocent man, continued firing bullets so as to scare the onlookers from rescuing the man, till they ( custom officers ) eventually fled.
