US Senegalese singer, Akon has stated that Mavin Records act, Rema, reminds him a lot about Wizkid when he first found him.

Akon made this known while he was reviewing songs from Spain, Russia, Nigeria and many more.

According to him, Rema will eventually be a huge artiste due to his music which he described as amazing.

“This kid reminds me a lot about Wizkid when I first found him. And I love how he’s adapted to his age bracket. You can tell he’s young, his whole wave is young.

“His music is current, his production is amazing, his song is amazing. He’s gon’ do big. And then he’s coming out at the height of where Afrobeat is right now. He’s gon’ be a huge artiste eventually”, Akon said.

This review from the Senegalese is coming few weeks after Obama announced that ‘Iron Man’ by Rema is one of the songs in his playlist.
