Duties and Responsibilities:
To conceptualise and develop strategies for the design and successful implementation of IT project
To advice Management on IT policies, procedures and applications.
To prepare and monitor the annual IT capital and operation budget.
To ensure the development of standards and procedures for an effective systems environment.
To undertake database design and admin. functions e.g database implementation and performance tuning
To administer the various servers using Windows 2003 server and UNIX platforms.
To design, configure and administer the bank’s networking system (both LAN and WAN).
To train users on computing system, banking software and PCs applications.
To ensure that all IT systems are up and running at any given moment.

Special Requirements:
QUALIFICATION

Minimum of Bsc in Computer Science or related field
An MSC will be an added advantage
At least 4 years of core IT experience in the area of operating systems management, database
