Rapper Emeka Akumefule, also known as Blaqbonez has called Wizkid, Davido and Burna upcoming artists. He says he wants to give them a chance to blow on the remix of his song. Blaqbonez signed to 100 Crowns, was earlier this year profiled by the The New York Times alongside Teni (singer), Odunsi (The Engine), and 3 others as the new guards of Nigerian music. The Guardian Nigerian also described him as 'carrying the torch of Nigerian rap' and on 2 January 2019, was listed by the same as one of the top 10 artists to watch in 2019.
