The Kogi State chapter of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria has endorsed the reelection bid of Governor Yahaya Bello in the November governorship poll.

The National Organising Secretary of the association, Alhaji Aliyu Saleh, made the disclosure of the endorsement at a meeting in Lokoja on Saturday.

Saleh identified improved security for its over 30,000 members, who have over the years been under constant attack from kidnappers and cattle rustlers, and the free vaccination of their cattle as part of the reasons for the endorsement.


According to him, the association and it members have witnessed a new lease of life under the present administration.
