AnneozengOgozi Aid Foundation Distributed over 50,000 Books and Writing Materials to primary school students in FCT Abuja in September. Families often struggle just to meet their basic needs and school supplies can’t just be a priority. We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do for children. Many people today agree that we need to reduce violence in our society. But have not actively pursue that goal. If we are truly serious about this, we must deal with the roots of violence by educating the less privileged children in the streets particularly those that exist around us. It was a thing of joy for us at Anneozeng Ogozi Aid Foundation to put smiles on the pupils in three different primary schools around the FCT SURBUB.

LEA Primary school Jeida in kuje area council Abuja
LEA Primary School Kagini, Abuja
LEA Primary School Wukara, Abuja
AOAF gave out school materials like exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners and paid school fees for some students and also reminded the pupils of the important of education, personal hygiene and domestic violence.
About Anneozeng Ogozi Aid Foundation (AOAF)

MRS ANN WITH STUDENTS
AnneozengOgozi Aid Foundation (AOAF) is a non-profit organization borne out of passion to mitigate hopelessness among people in Nigeria. Our services cuts across enhancing quality education, creating health awareness, advocating for women and children rights, providing humanitarian services, providing care for the physically challenged and empowering women, youths and children. The organization’s mission is to “provide a suitable and sustainable world in which everyone enjoys the right to a good life, filled with dignity and freedom from poverty and all forms of oppression”. This was adopted following the vision of the organization and the poor condition of living of people in the rural communities. According to UNICEF, over 10.5 millions Nigeria children are out of school and age ranging from 4-14 years. The girl child mostly have high rate of absence in school as only 48.7% of girl child is in school.

There are five seasons: winter, spring, summer, fall and school supplies. September feels like the busiest time of the year, it’s time when the beach towels are put away and backpacks come out. Primary education is useful to the development of the child and the society at large in various ways. It identifies the family and government as agents that impede the roles of primary education in developing both the child and the society.
