This thought with the picture below is as a result of the frequent and condescending level of failure, and underdevelopment Nigeria has been fraught with since the Amalgamation; and became more pronounced from independence onwards. Such detestable, and squalid level keeps increasing with subsequent governments, and their presidents!.
for example:

In Yaradua's government, fuel was cheaper. foodstuff were cheap.

The next one(Goodluck's), It became less cheaper. foodstuff were less cheap.

The third Government (Buhari's), it became expensive. most Nigerians were introduced to cruel inflation, and everything became too expensive. foodstuff became too expensive (x3 expensive).
with the foregoing, the incoming government come 2023 will be worse! that is how bad and bawdry The situation is!
so independence celebration in Nigeria is irrationally and inaptly nauseating; and should be outright jettisoned by well-meaning and right-thinking humans(mostly Nigerians).
