A report from Telegraph reveals that Tammy Abraham has made a decision over his international future and will accept an England callup should one come.

The striker is eligible for Nigeria too, and there had been plenty of hope from fans of the Super Eagles that the striker would be persuaded to change his path from the England youth teams to the Nigerian senior team.

When he was playing in the Championship, that seemed feasible. But now he’s banging them in in the Premier League he’s a hot property, and Gareth Southgate may be keen to lock him in sooner rather than later.

Interest from his home country will only grow as he gets better, and each time he’s left out of the Three Lions squad he’ll be pushed back towards the land of his parentage. English Chelsea fans will be that he gets the nod sooner rather than later and starts playing as well for them as he has done for the Blues.

This is a tough call.... play for a great footballing nation that may only use you to warm the bench OR play for a country where you will possibly be a titular but ain't got no hopes to win anything worthy outside Africa.

On a serious note; Tammy is good but nothing is fantastic about him, if he's decided to play for the three Lions, good luck to him .

Losing Tammy to England is not a loss at all because Nigeria is currently bless with array of many young stars who are willing to play for Nigeria, giving their handler the selection headache.
