An established organization that specializes in food drinks and finger foods is currently recruiting for dispatch rider.
Job Description
• Ride company’s motorcycle to accomplish official duties
• Prompt delivery of meals from the kitchen to the mall daily
• Organizes item orders for delivery
• Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries
• Delivering ordered products to designated locations as given by the operation manager when order is taken for it
• Arranges deliveries in cases when deliveries are to be made in different locations by checking products to make ascertain their condition as at pick up.
• Keeps customers informed by placing calls and informing them of the tentative delivery time.
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Providing excellent customer service thereby increasing the company’s customer base.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for making deliveries
• Must observe all Health Safety and Environmental driving related policies to ensure the consistent safety of documents and motorcycle
• Responsible for updating the drivers’ logbook on a daily basis with the required information.
• Responsible for carrying out the daily inspection on the general condition of motorcycle and must properly lock motorcycle when there is a need to leave it unattended to
• Ensure proper and efficient use of company tools
• Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information.
• Keeping record of client’s complaints and forwarding same to the operation executive, Human Resources and CEO.
• Being familiar with the information on all the products and giving it out to the customer on request.
• Contribute to team efforts in accomplishing organizational goals.
• Help to promote company culture by providing good marketing strategy for company products.
• Liaise with the kitchen manager for prompt delivery of foods to the mall when the need arises.
• Maintain a database of customer contacts
• Undertake other duties as assigned
Requirement
BSc, HND, OND, NCE in any field
Exceptional communication skills
Great Customer service skill
Result oriented
2 years hand on experience in dispatch riding
Valid driver’s license
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Knowledge of Lagos traffic laws
Knowledge of security requirement
