Nigeria At 59: How Long Does Evil Last? by bsmithconcepts1(m): 1:16pm On Oct 03, 2019
Yes, we are good people, but for 59 years evil seem to be abounding will it ever end? Will we ever be victorious? In answering this question, I will use an illustration of the greatest battle of good and evil. This battle has been fought and won before we came into existence.

In the beginning, was God, He created the heavens and the earth. In the heavens He created angels and Lucifer was the most decorated amongst them so beautiful. There was peace and utopia in the universe until Lucifer became evil. He won over to his side some angels and a battle erupted. God set a plan in motion to eradicate evil and it started with His angels defeating Lucifer.

Lucifer being cast down came to earth and then caused it to be without form and void. God spoke order into earth and created man in His image to be in charge of earth. Knowing man will fall, He sent His Son to die to restore man to his rightful place and restore the earth. Man committed treason and gave authority to Lucifer (now popularly known as the devil).

Devil, thought he had foiled God’s plan, but immediately God revealed the next stage of His plan. When angels left heaven to corrupt the plan, God sent the flood antivirus program. It wiped out almost all of God’s creation. With the remaining creation, God continued His plan. By setting apart Abraham’s seed through (Jacob) Israel, He set the stage for the coming of His Son.

His Son arrived as a helpless baby and the Devil influenced Herod to kill all children in his age grade to wipe out God’s plan and he failed again. God plans continued until 30 years later His Son was crucified the plan accomplished. The devil not knowing the plan thought he has won, until the Pentecost and the birth of the Church (Jesus’ Body and Bride).

Christ’s agent of change and today evil is losing far more than is being told. Daily people are being restored to their rightful place as kings and leaders even without their acknowledgement or awareness. The story is not over because years in the future the Battle of Armageddon took place Jesus become triumphant. The Devil and his cohorts are thrown into the eternal fire.

Then existed new heaven and a new earth free of evil, pain and suffering. This is a certain event that will occur. The plan is set in motion and the end is sure. Evil last as long as good people permit it. It is not enough to say we do not want it, like God we need to have a plan and stick to it. The evil in Nigeria will only last as long as we let it.

The only people with power over evil are born again believers. Because by being Born Again they receive the Power above all powers and have the right to effectively use the Name above all names (the name of Jesus). Yes, the church (the Christian) is the best solution Nigeria got. And we do not need a Christian president to solve Nigeria problems just Christian leaders amongst the citizens.

How long will you permit evil to last? Will you as a believer to use what you have to end evil?
