The most widely spoken language in the world is Mandarin, over a billion people in China speak it.

I think its a language in China. It some time came up in WWTBAM show and i was suprised to hear that it was not English. I still need detailed fact.

There is a trick to this question. If you say the most spoken language all over the world, it will be English. But if you say the language that has the highest number of people speaking it, it would be that chinese language mandarin orwhatevr they call it.

If number of people, then Mandarin.
