Boko Haram: Borno Govt Sign Agreement With 30 Saudi-based Clerics To Pray For Peace.

Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, the Borno State Governor, has entered an arrangement with 30 residents of Makkah who will, on permanent basis, offer daily ‘Dawaf’ (circumambulation of the holy Ka’aba ) to offer prayers for the return and sustenance of peace in Borno State and the rest of Nigeria.

The 30 persons, all of Nigerian origin, from Borno, Katsina, Zamfara, Kano and other parts of the North-west, have for years devoted themselves to spending hours at the Ka’aba everyday for the purpose of worship. .

An old man amongst them, is said to have remained a Ka’aba devotee in the last 40 years. The Ka’aba is Islam’s holiest area located inside the grand Al-Haram Mosque in Makkah.

The problem religion would cause in the country , we haven't seen anything ....they say religion came to save the world , but it ends up it is just obfuscating those who believe in it the more .....
Boko Haram is an issue of national concern , little or nothing physical has been done about it , and the best step to take about it, is to delegate money hungry so called clerics to come and pray about what exactly ??

Of all the stones Mallam Zulum of Borno state have thrown at the Devil at Mount Arafat or Kaabaa or whatever it's called, Is that not enough to chase away the devils that have invaded his state??

Why do we always like to call the name of God whenever we find ourselves in a critical situation which we can even avoid in the first place??

We toyed with the peace in the land due to our actions and inactions ....Consequently, we brought Crisis and Killings to the land...It is now left to us to construct ways to Reinstate peace and unity by ourselves......And not calling on the name of an Imaginary God somewhere.....

A typical Nigerian Man or Woman would say...'God pls help me', ' We live it to the hands of God', God knows best, .......Does a God exist??

We are so gullible to our Politician, We are also Gullible to Religion.....(Double trouble for us)

Religion is not to be blamed here, it's your leaders directionlessness that's at play

Those clerics should first pray for peace in Saudi Arabia and her neighboring countries that have been destroyed by wars before coming to Nigeria.
