I visited a friend, son of one of them at home just a couple of years after they left goverment, won't name the person or location and what I saw at that young age is imprinted in my mind till today. Everything in the living room was gold trim. From the embroidery on the curtains to the seat cushions....persian rugs, cabinets, everything either plated or woven in gold thread....

How this country has survived hundreds of these kinds of people over the decades remains a mystery.
