Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen has been ranked second by TalkSport in a listing of the best young players in Europe’s top leagues.

Utilizing stats from WhoScored.com, the broadcasters drew up a list of the best 15 players under the age of 21 who are at top flight clubs in England, Spain, Germany, France and Italy.


Osimhen finished behind top-ranked Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund, while he clinch the second-place position.

The third-placed position birth out Martin Odegaard of Real Sociedad while Chelsea’s Muson Mount and Liverpool’s Alexander-Arnold finished fourth and fifth respectively.

The Super Eagles Striker was ranked as the top youngster in the French League one, ahead of khephren Thuram of nice and other top young players in Europe to make him arguably one of the best young players in Europe

‘Not only has he registered Seven goals out of Nine appearances already this campaign but his creative talents have gone unrewarded with two assists despite UnderStat.com crediting him with an expected assists number of 3.23,’ stated the TalkSport report.

‘His ability to score Goals and help marking out opponents has given Christophe Galtier plenty to think about.’
