Providing media buying and planning services for all online campaigns; collaborating with the Strategy, Account Management, Creative, Business and Content Development Departments for the successful development and management of digital and social media strategies for client brands; budgeting and managing clients campaigns from start to finish; creating / recommending of relevant Media as part of a cross channel media plan.


Contributing to the conceptualization, planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of the Company and Client’s media strategy.

· Developing sub-strategies for key social media channels or outlets, with the goal of targeted, effective new media engagement

· Liaising with all internal teams and departments to enhance and build on the Company’s social media strategy

· Keeping up to speed on new market opportunities and interactive technologies.

· Working with media vendors in the development, negotiation, implementation, tracking, reporting and optimization of online media buys

· Acting as the point person for new media opportunities, recommending new media to Client and clearly articulating the strategy and tactics behind such media recommendations.

· Taking the lead with analytics to ensure that proper tracking tools are in place for each campaign, including gathering third party tracking tags and Google Analytics tracking codes.

· Monitoring live campaigns, including conducting the proper QA, and recommending optimizations as needed to improve campaign performance

· Delivering campaign results to clients with a clear understanding of data analysis

· Maintaining detailed campaign records including requests for proposals, implementation and tracking spreadsheets

· Delivering POVs relevant to client issues and possible opportunities

· Keeping the agency team informed of emerging trends and communicating innovative, business-building new media recommendations

· Providing insightful reporting using measurement/analytics tools.

· Initiating partnership opportunities where favourable to the Company

Skills:

· Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of a wide array of digital communications and media tools.

· An understanding of SEM and how to maximize performance / site optimization

· Adept at extracting meaningful insights from multiple sources of data

· Able to grasp complex concepts and systems quickly, and express them in simple ways

· Strong business writing, communication and presentation skills

· Excellent communication, interpersonal and client relationship skills

· Excellent decision - making skills and the ability to operate in a systematic and logical manner.

· Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment without compromising quality

· A proactive self-starter, able to work both independently and as part of a team

· Highly organized, accurate, able to pay attention to details and good time management skills to ensure projects are completed on time

· Have up-to-date knowledge of the media marketplace and able to maintain relationships with key outside vendors.

· A high level of brand awareness, good knowledge of strategic media planning, buying and online measurement

· Good accounting skills (budget management, adhering to timelines, goals and delivery)

· Must possess expertise in interacting with social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and blogs

· Must possess excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

· Must be a strong team player with the ability to manage people and provide support to a team.

· Must be an avid networker who is able to realize opportunities and develop strong internal and Client relationships

· Must have strong problem-solving and follow-through skills

· Excellent IT skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft office applications.

· An innovative big picture thinker with intellectual curiosity and an ability to think broadly and strategically



Experience:

· Minimum of 2 years of digital/new media experience, ideally in a marketing services / agency environment.
· Prior experience in negotiating successful media buys and ensuring significant savings

· Prior experience in crafting marketing and business strategies and managing digital campaigns

· Previous experience in managing media budgets for brands

· Previous experience using google analytics tools


Qualifications:

· Qualifications in a Marketing, IT or business related degree.

· Membership of relevant professional bodies

· Google Certifications
