The Ebonyi State Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Barr Orji Uchenna Orji has said that the unbeatable strides of the Engr David Umahi led Administration and avalanche of goodwill from the people of the Nation, were all practical testimonies of the governor’s unique leadership qualities.

Orji who stated this while receiving the Leader of the Ambassadors for accountability initiatives, Mr Amechi Ogalagu said the feats recorded by the state Chief Executive in all facets were simply overwhelming and record- breaking.

He emphasized that as his Ministry was favourably disposed towards partnering any group or Agency who intends to carry out independent assessment/ survey, the State ministry of Information and Orientation had aligned itself to the transparent posture of the state Chief Executive in allowing ‘un-purchased’ assessment by any willing group or individual, on Strides and Prudence of the Umahi led government, saying; ‘Umahi was a good market that sells itself’

The Information boss, however, promised the group of necessary enabling environment as well as security throughout the period of its survey, expressing confidence that the group would have its fill, judging from myriads of visible democratic dividends dotting every area of the State.



Earlier in his remarks, the Leader of the Ambassadors for accountability initiatives, Comrade Amechi Ogalagu noted that the group was a nongovernmental Organisation saddled with the mission of carrying out an independent ‘Honesty Assessment’ of the running of government in the country, with Ebonyi as its pilot state.
Comrade Ogalagu disclosed that its partnership with some other organisations was for a multi spinal effect in the survey.

Members of the Management of the Ministry, including the Permanent Secretary, Mr Ken Uhuo, Director of Information, Prince Anya Okorie, Head of Admin, Amechi Kalu and others, were among those who were at the visit.
