I've decided to be positive since it wasn't explicitly stated in the mail accompanying the award letter that the bank branch in the acceptance form should be the branch where the account was opened.

I filled the bank i signed the form but i sent a mail already as regards changing that field. And for the sort code, it has been automatically filled for selected banks e.g all those filling uba would use the same sort code
