michaelkaroh:Industrialization is necessary but will not be sufficient until we rid the continent of sell -outs like Sassou Nguesso of Congo Brazza, Allassane Ouattara of Cote d' Ivoire, Macky Sall of Senegal, crooked regional bodies such as Ecowas, and all the greedy wannabe political figures. 1 Like |

panafrican: True talk, but how do you think some of us became sell outs?......was it not because we couldn't fend for/defend ourselves. If Africa is industrialized today, it would put a stop to the economic and political subjugation of her people as we would be able to adopt progressive policies and also destroy the dollar hegemony that's stagnating our economies. 1 Like |

michaelkaroh: Alliances. Remember Europeans' own history. They overcame the domination of each emerging european power by signing alliances depending on the situation. Some examples among many 1. The UK had six alliances in their bid to stop Napoleon 2. During the seven -year war, France struck a deal with Austria, Russia , Sweden, Spain, Peru, the Mughal empire etc to fight the British and the Prussians ( 1756-1763) 3. WW 1 4. WW2 This been said, what the lady spoke about is at its height right now in Cote d'Ivoire, where Ouattara criminal illegal immigrant from Burkina Faso is president thanks to the French military He handed -out a big government to Bouygues SA , the very same old French company that cannot compete anywhere in the world except blackmailing African countries. Here to read: 37 kilometers ( say less than 23 miles ) costing $ 1.5 BILLION The uninformed ones who applauded president Gbagbo downfall when he was overthrown by French backed rebels in 2011 now understand what is at stake. " OCTOBER 9, 2019 Bloomberg Ivory Coast formalized an almost 1.4 billion euro ($1.5 billion) agreement with a unit of Bouygues SA for an urban railway known as Metro d’Abidjan that’s being built in the commercial capital to ease congestion. France, the former colonial power that still has close ties to the West African nation, agreed in 2017 to fund the entire project as part of a package of mainly concessional loans, on condition that French companies could build the 37-kilometer railway project." https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-10-09/ivory-coast-signs-formal-accord-for-urban-railway-with-bouygues |

YAHREIGNS: The AU is a servant of world powers; it is clearly dictated to. You can't form such a union without prioritising the formation of an army . That is why the whole Africa trade agreement is going to be a disaster that will not benefit the people of Africa, but the puppet masters and their puppets. This lady spoke the truth, but to and around a bunch of house niggas. She will be made an example of . The lynching has just begun , you don't say the truth against European powers and live in peace after unless you have some serious backing, I doubt she does. 3 Likes |

panafrican: Unfortunately, true. The worst part is that there is someone she knows and probably trusts that will have to do the dirty work. Like I said though ,the AU is a silly dream without an army that is fully equipped to defend the continent. The members that truly want the African child to benefit from the resources we have in abundance will keep on getting their asses assassinated by these Neanderthals. And without re-educating the masses unions such as this one will remain just a gathering of old coons in African attires with no one to hold them responsible for their fuckeries. 2 Likes |

dermmy:True. The first start should be the China way; any public servant caught taking a bribe must be killed. Public office holders cannot have their children studying overseas or in private schools. No health care treatments outside of the nation or Africa for any public servant, unless there is no one capable of treating what ever sickness they have. No overseas accounts for public servants, failure to declare such interests before running for office will be the end of your life. Basically, there shouldn't be any space for office holders to have cosy relationships with Westerners outside of their mandate. 2 Likes |

There will be a sell- out African president not necessarily from former French colonies who would volunteer to offer his services to poison that woman and ask for a quid pro quo ( something for something deal ). If this does not work , the DGSE ( French secret services) will go far East to hire someone you would hardly suspect, from India or some Pacific island for instance, to do the dirty job. 1 Like |

I thought that was old agreement for those countries to deposit X amount of reserves into a CFA bank for stability purposes? I don't think it is a tax. Anyways it would be interesting if African leaders are going to talk bad about China's debt trap. Maybe not because their pockets are getting lined by China now. |
